When you least expect it...life can present the most difficult challenges. We can help.

Are you or a loved one downsizing to a smaller home, moving to a retirement community or a senior care facility? Has a loved one passed away? Do the children live far away, or is the executor out of state?  There are common threads

...A need for a trusted third party to take responsibility for the often overwhelming challenges of organizing, evaluating, and disposing of paperwork and personal property, including the potential sale of a residence.

... A support for families in transition, including bereaved families who need assistance in following up on the disposition of possessions,  or with the often daunting process of handling legal and logistical issues.

We are experienced in handling all required tasks with compassion, and never take action without your permission.

At Elements Cremation, we believe there are as many right ways of handling a cremation and honoring a loved one as there are people who need our services.  Some families want the simplicity of cremation alone. Some find comfort in a visitation and religious service. Others seek creative or less conventional ways to celebrate a life, often with music, food, and social interaction.

However you choose to honor your loved one, Elements Cremation offers virtually limitless choices and the ideal combination of expertise, experience, and compassion to give you confidence that you’re doing the right thing for your loved one, your family, and yourself.

considertheconversation.org

Consider the Conversation is a series of films created by Burning Hay Wagon Productions, a limited liability company founded in 2009 by two long-time Wisconsin friends – Terry Kaldhusdal, a 6th grade history teacher and filmmaker, and Michael Bernhagen, a healthcare business development professional turned hospice advocate.  Both lost loved ones to severe chronic disease during the first part of the 21st century- Mike’s mother, Rita, to congestive heart failure and vascular dementia in 2003 and Terry’s brother, Peter, to pancreatic cancer in 2009 – and struggled, like most Americans do, to make sense of what was happening.  These personal experiences, combined with Mike’s many years of work in the hospice field, led the pair to produce documentaries with the one simple goal in mind – inspire culture change that results in end-of-life care that is more person-centered and less system-centered.
